The Catalan Health Service has opened an internal investigation into a woman who worked in the emergency department of the Berga hospital without being a doctor.
The woman started working in December and worked as a doctor for seven months.
As soon as the irregularity became known, the center opened a file with immediate suspension of functions until the facts were clarified. In addition, he also filed a complaint with the Mossos d’Esquadra for professional intrusion.
The open investigations will have to determine how the woman could get to work as a doctor without being one and what mistakes have been made.
