The lifeless body of a man has been found inside a house where a fire had broken out, in the Malaga town of Alhaurín el Grande, according to Emergencies 112 Andalucía.
The event took place last night around 10:15 p.m., at which time several witnesses called 112 because flames and smoke were coming out of a three-story house on Nueva Street. The alerters also indicated that there could be at least one person inside the house.
The coordinating center immediately activated the Firefighters of the Provincial Consortium of Malaga, the Local Police, the Civil Guard and the Health Emergency Center (CES) 061.
Sources from the municipality’s Local Police have confirmed to 112 that, after the fire was extinguished, emergency operations found the lifeless body of a 40-year-old man inside the house affected by the flames.
The Firefighters indicated that the flames burned the room where the deceased was and that the entire rest of the house was affected by smoke. The causes surrounding the incident are being investigated.
