The National Police is investigating the discovery this Thursday of the bodies in an advanced state of decomposition of a 51-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man at a home in the Madrid district of Moratalaz, an event in which the main hypothesis is that it is a new crime of sexist violence.
According to the first investigations, the man, of Spanish nationality, would have killed the woman – the specific relationship between the two is still unknown – and then he would have taken his own life, although other theses are not ruled out, police sources inform EFE.
Based on the advanced state of decomposition that both bodies presented, accelerated by the high temperatures, the agents believe that the events occurred a few days ago.
It was around 2:00 p.m. when the neighbors alerted the police to the strong smell that emanated from the house, located on Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente street.
The agents of the National Police have traveled to the place, who have found the two lifeless bodies and, at least that of the woman, with signs of violence.
At that time, the members of the Scientific Police and Group V of Homicide of the Judicial Police of Madrid attended, carrying out a visual inspection at the scene of the events and investigating the circumstances in which both deaths occurred.
Apparently no relative of the deceased had reported their disappearance and there were no indications in the last hours that raised suspicions about this fatal outcome.
