A charred body with a knife stuck in the chest was found early this Friday by the Mijas Firefighters (Málaga) inside a motorhome after extinguishing the fire that consumed the vehicle.
A call from a private individual around 4:30 a.m. alerted the 112 Andalucía emergency service about the fire of a caravan in the vicinity of the Calaburras Lighthouse, in the El Charcón stream, near a well-known beach club in the area. 112 has reported.
From this emergency phone, the local fire extinguishing service was notified, whose troops, when they managed to put out the flames and access the interior of the vehicle’s cabin, found the lifeless body of a person inside.
Given the state of the body, it has not been possible to verify whether it is a man or a woman or its age. To know this information it will be necessary to wait for the forensic report once the autopsy has been performed.
The Civil Guard has opened an investigation in order to clarify the circumstances in which this event occurred and clarify the cause of death.
