The 59-year-old woman, who this past Sunday was allegedly stabbed by her son in the family home in the Malaga municipality of Vélez-Málaga, and who remained admitted to the hospital after the events, has died, as confirmed to Europa Press sanitary sources.
In addition to the mother, the alleged aggressor, 37 years old and who is detained, also stabbed a brother and injured himself with the same weapon.
The events took place around 9:30 a.m. this past Sunday. The Emergency 112 Andalucía system received a notice alerting, apparently, of a family fight in a block of flats on Domingo Heredia street. Immediately, 112 notified the members of the health services, the National Police and the Local Police.
Thus, according to police sources, the arrested man allegedly stabbed his mother, who has died, and a 34-year-old brother with a knife in the family home. After the attack, the detainee injured himself with the same weapon.
All of them were admitted to a hospital in Malaga, although the condition of the brother or the alleged aggressor has not been revealed, who was arrested for his alleged responsibility in a crime of attempted homicide, as indicated this Sunday by the National Police.
