The objective is to “facilitate use for everyone, fighting against the digital divide, and facilitating its management,” the City Council reported. Thanks to artificial intelligence, through the same photograph that the user sends to communicate the incident “the category to which it corresponds is automatically detected and, therefore, the department to which the incident should be referred.” In addition, an “automatic warning service on traffic congestion on the C-32 highway” has been incorporated.
The Viladecans initiative has been supported with European Next Generation funds through a program of the Ministry of Transport. On the other hand, it is a finalist for the Aslan awards, an association that is made up of 188 technology companies, in the category of artificial intelligence for citizen services.
