A couple of years ago, few knew of the existence of podcasts. Now they are one of the most valued sources of information and entertainment. Podcasts sell, win prizes and are liked by the public, which is why the Victoria Theater in Barcelona will host the first podcast festival, which will be held on October 21st. The contest, organized by Antonio Díaz’s production company, El mago Pop, will include the participation of La vida y tal, by Ana Milán and Sebastián Gallego, Club 113 or Nude Project and will try to break the industry record with 12 uninterrupted hours of broadcast and recording
The actress Ana Milián and the communicator Sebastián Gallego have made a name for themselves in the podcast sector with La vida y tal, which this year won the Ondas award for best revelation podcast. Milán and Gallego speak in their recordings of everyday things as if “they were friends you ask for advice, and then ignore them or those you trust because they will tell you the truth about your new bangs.” The couple will perform live for the first time at the Victoria Theater festival.
Luis Muiño and Molo Cebrián, creators of Understand your mind, will also participate in the contest, a podcast that explains in an easy-to-understand and entertaining way issues as complex as addictions, sentimental relationships or the difficulties to find the key to happiness so that listeners can understand themselves a little better and analyze what they feel.
Nude Project is a Spanish fashion firm, created by the young Bruno Casanovas and Alex Benlloch. In 2018, Bruno and Álex were 18 years old, they raised some money and started making sweatshirts. Now, they sell their t-shirts all over the world and they also have a well-known podcast in which they interview brave and innovative people every week. His YouTube channel already has more than 225,000 subscribers.
They will also participate in the Club 113 event, a podcast presented by Goorgo, Nil Ojeda and Werlyb; La sotana, by Andreu Juanola, Manel Vidal Boix, Joel Díaz and Magi Modgi, who talk about football with a great sense of humor, and La Trinae, an LGTBIQ podcast run by three very young women.
