El Tercer Paisatge is a municipal project that links art and the social fabric of Terrassa, an initiative of the City Council in collaboration with the Sant Pere Nord neighborhood association and curated by the local artist, Anna Taratiel.
The aim is to improve the urban environment through contemporary artistic practices. In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can see this beautiful, original and monumental mural in Cipriano Garcia de Terrassa square, which shows a child reading butterflies as a book.
It is located on the corner of Consell de Cent street. The mural, titled Synopsis, is the result of the collaboration of the artists Cristian Blanxer and VÃctor GarcÃa. It represents a child holding a large butterfly in his left hand, while many others flutter above his head.
It is part of this project, where the “third landscape” emerges through urban street art. Thus, four major artistic interventions have been carried out in this square.
The first was in 2019 with the mural by Lula Goce. He was followed by Cristian Blanxer and VÃctor GarcÃa, as well as Anna Taratiel. In 2022, Spogo was responsible for adding light and color to another piece of wall in the square.
