The Administrative Court of Sport (TAD) rejected this Saturday the appeal filed by Valencia CF against the closure of the Mestalla Animation Stand, for which the Valencian club will resort to ordinary justice, as Efe was able to learn from sources of the entity .
After the racist insults that the Real Madrid player Vinicius received on Sunday from some fans who were in that stand, the Competition Committee ordered the closure of that area of the field for five games.
After rejecting a first appeal from Valencia, the Appeals Committee reduced the closure to three but also denied the granting of the precautionary suspension of the sanction as requested by the club until they can get to the bottom of the matter.
Faced with this situation and given the proximity of Sunday’s match against Espanyol and that the team is still not saved, Valencia filed an appeal with the TAD, which has also been denied in terms of the precautionary measure.
From the Valencian entity they assure that there is no precedent for such a decision and they assure that they will take the case to ordinary justice, for which they must present an appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court.
