In this series of images in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can see a cloudy sky at dawn in the surroundings of Manlleu, in Osona, with two symbolic elements.
On the one hand, we can see how water is once again seen in the pond near the Puig-agut sanctuary (it had not been full for a long time due to the persistent drought).
On the other hand, after the last storms, calm has arrived again, at least before it rains again, according to the forecast for this week. But, this truce in the weather is symbolized in this video in which we can hear the crow of the rooster and the birds at sunrise. They convey great serenity.
The photographs are presided over by the silhouette of the Sanctuary of Puig-agut, a neo-Gothic temple included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
It is located on top of a hill at an altitude of 696 meters, the highest point in the municipality of Manlleu. The building is made up of two chapels, the one on the right is dedicated to Saint Joseph and the one on the left to the Virgin.
The Puig-agut sanctuary has a beautiful connection with its surroundings. Being at such a high point and having everything clear, it stands out. And being surrounded by paths and nature, it is ideal for disconnecting.
