From the small and beautiful town of Rellinars there are magnificent panoramic views of Montserrat, as we can appreciate in this series of snapshots in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.
Located 47 km from Barcelona, much of the municipal territory of this locality in Vallès Occidental is included within the natural park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac.
Rellinars stands out for its natural environment, with beautiful landscapes and for the tranquility that is breathed, which invites you to contemplate the rocky massif of Montserrat calmly.
We are already on the border with the Bages region. The eastern sector is more rugged, due to the western foothills of the Sierra del Obac, where the Riera de Rellinars originates, which flows into the Llobregat River on the left and within the limits of Castellbell and Vilar.
However, the forest mass stands out above all, although there are also crops. The predominant one is the garden (tomatoes, beans and potatoes). The vineyard had been basic in the past, but now there are only residual vineyards. The same happened with the olive trees.
The agricultural activity of Rellinars can be seen in this final series of photographs where the loaded almond trees can be seen despite the drought, also looking at Montserrat.
