The Regional Council of Segrià presented this Wednesday in Alcoletge (Lleida) a new tourist project to make known the tangible and intangible heritage of the region related to the Second Republic, the Civil War and the Franco regime.

With the name ‘Segrià, Land of Historical Memory’, the initiative collects, through a folding sheet, several visitable spaces in 16 municipalities of the region, such as interpretation centers, museums, tourist routes or spaces of trenches and machine gun nests, among others.

The objective is to highlight this heritage and make it another attraction to visit and discover the region and, in turn, preserve the historical memory of these from the 20th century.
