The second edition of the Tech technology festival

The festival recovers the new technologies that were exhibited at the end of February at the MWC in Barcelona, ??the largest mobile technology congress in the world, but extracts it from the business world to transfer it to citizens, families, adolescents, older people and To the general public.

The event was presented this Friday at the headquarters of MWC Capital, the public-private foundation that works to maintain the legacy of the MWC in Barcelona, ??Catalonia and Spain, led by the foundation’s CEO, Francesc Fajula.

“The objective is for people to see the usefulness of technological developments in their daily lives, which often appear in the media, and to see what they can expect from technological advances for their lives,” said Fajula.

The main themes of the festival, which focuses on educational purposes, will be cybersecurity, robotics and hardware, artificial intelligence in music, video games, immersive realities and digitalization, and generative artificial intelligence.

Among the exhibitors at the festival, there will be an immersive journey about four key moments in the industrial history of Catalonia, a 30-square-meter miniature car circuit that simulates the old layout of Montjuïc, or a stop to reflect on the power of algorithms .

Another exhibitor is an immersive installation to visit the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, so that the public enters the bowels of the Barcelona supercomputer, as well as a stop to compare the great capacity of supercomputers compared to traditional computing.

Open from Thursday to Sunday for a wide period of the day, the MWCapital wants to attract a school audience to the festival in the first days, while Saturday will be the main day for the general public, and Sunday has been designed as a “family day ” with specific activities for children between three and twelve years old.
