The approximately 130 residents of the Font Bona de Llagostera urbanization once again have water at their homes after the company in charge of the supply has solved the fault that had left them without supply since last Saturday.
Those who have not yet recovered the service are the 250 residents of the other affected urbanization, Selva Brava. While the supply is not restored, the Llagostera City Council makes a tanker truck available to those affected so that they can supply themselves with water to wash or clean the dishes. It also offers bottled water to drink.
In addition, those affected can continue to use the hot showers in the Josep Mir sports hall, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and they have free access to the municipal swimming pool in the La Canyera urbanization.
The Consistory has also set up a point for collecting and channeling complaints from residents affected by the cuts of the company that manages the service, Rec Madral.
“This point aims to make it easier for residents to process formal complaints to the Catalan Consumer Agency and the competent bodies that are considered”, explains the mayor of Llagostera, Narcís Llinàs. The office is located in the multipurpose room.
