The reservoirs that are part of the Ter-Llobregat system have exceeded 16% capacity, reaching 16.05% specifically, according to the latest data released in the daily report prepared by the Catalan Water Agency (ACA).
The five reservoirs that make up the Ter-Llobregat system, which are Sau, Susqueda, Baells, Llosa del Cavall and Sant Ponç, accumulate according to the latest published figures 98.24 cubic hectometres of water out of the total 612.07 they have as capacity, and have seen a slight recovery due to the rain and snow episodes at the beginning of March, which, however, have been smaller than usual.
Numbers that are rising, but that do not cut off the emergency phase situation that the Government decreed when the basin fell below 100 cubic hectometers, and that must be overcome regularly over time.
The Government spokesperson, Patrícia Plaja, referred to the end of the emergency phase last week and warned that until the figure of 100 cubic hectometers is consistently exceeded, a more positive situation regarding the capacity of these swamps of the Ter-Llobregat system.
