The case of the National Police that infiltrated left-wing independence movements in Girona and Salt continues. Today the UdG has made public that the rector, Quim Salvi, filed a complaint against the agent, who enrolled for two courses in the degree in Social Education.

In the written complaint, which the rector presented on July 31 before the Girona investigative court, it is detailed that the UdG has no evidence of “the possible legal justification or judicial authorization” that would support that the agent could enroll. with a false identity in these studies that he would have taken during the years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.

Some facts that the rector understands could constitute a crime of falsification of a public document. In the statement sent this morning from the UdG, it is noted that the use of a false identity for political or ideological reasons “has generated great discomfort” among the university community and “can create strong distrust in its social fabric.”

In this sense, the UdG is “outraged” by the case that the independence movement uncovered in mid-July according to which the police had infiltrated left-wing independence movements in Girona and Salt for three years and had maintained a romantic relationship with an activist.
