The acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, traveled to Morocco yesterday to spend a few days on vacation with his family, on a “strictly private” trip. Miguel Tellado, Deputy Secretary of Organization of the PP, has assessed this decision as “a clear provocation that responds to the arrogance of the character”, alluding to the head of the Executive, and has assured that “he has left the country neglecting his duties” as president in functions.

In an interview on Onda Cero, Tellado has harshly criticized Sánchez, stating that “he is installed in arrogance and arrogance trying to make believe that he has won the elections.” In addition, he has asked him “to accept his defeat” and “congratulate” the PP “as the winner of the elections.”

The popular senator has opted for “a minority government” led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo “establishing State pacts with State parties.” In this sense, he added that “it is necessary to see if the Socialist Party continues to be a state party.”

Tellado trusts in the “possibility” they have of investing the popular leader as president and for this he has assured that they will speak “with all the constitutionalist forces.” About Junts, the deputy secretary has confirmed “that it is not on the table” to negotiate with Puigdemont’s party neither for an investiture nor for the Congress table.

The acting Finance Minister, María Jesús Montero, affirmed yesterday that “the reform of the regional financing system is urgent”, while the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, demands a bilateral negotiation.

In this sense, Tellado has indicated that the PSOE “is willing to govern at any price”, and has added that “not everything is worth it”. “The financing model must be modified, but not bilaterally, the system is not there to benefit territories but to finance public services,” he assured.

For the deputy secretary of popular organization, “it is an insult to intelligence” to propose “a debt relief for Catalonia.” “The partisan use of the financing model is a serious mistake, much less as a bargaining chip”, he has criticized.
