PowerCo Spain, the company responsible for the future Sagunt gigafactory, has been looking since yesterday for an expert in information and telecommunications security as well as a professional specializing in compensation and organizational development. These are two of the new job offers launched by the company, which is in the middle of the hiring process with around thirty open positions.

In the coming weeks, construction works will begin and the urbanization of the surroundings of a project called to be the main industrial milestone in Spain and, of course, in the Valencian Community is already underway. That is why last night the firm received recognition from the Valencia Chamber during the Night of the Valencian Economy, an event chaired by King Felipe VI in Valencia.

The CEO of PowerCO Spain, Thomas Dahlem, received recognition last night from the chamber institution for the Company installed in the territory, a distinction to the foreign company for its connection with the Valencian economy.

PowerCo moved its headquarters to Valencia in March and its project to establish itself in Valencian territory is proving attractive for other companies to also decide to locate in the Valencian Community.

The president of the Council of Chambers, José Vicente Morata, met with Dahlem a couple of months ago and thanked him at the meeting for “his commitment to the Valencian Community for the location of its second gigafactory, not only for the important private investment and the generation of wealth that it will undertake directly, but also for the driving effect it will have on the Valencian economy and for the capacity it has had to position the Community as a reference territory for the location of new projects. Last night this mutual support was evident with the award to PowerCo for being “one of the most relevant in our immediate future”, as Cámara Valencia highlighted in its presentation.

Meanwhile, the company continues working these months to outline the location of the temporary training center that will go hand in hand with the battery gigafactory to begin training its workers as early as 2024 with the aim of being a reference in electromobility from the Valencian Community.
