In the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we have taken the excursion to the Roques de la Corbera de Tavertet, in Osona, where we discovered that one is shaped like a face, with a prominent nose that does not leave you indifferent.
We found these rocks to the west of the Corbera farmhouse, on the right bank of the Baumadestral torrent. These are huge, almost vertical rocks, forming a cave.
From Las Roques, you can also enjoy splendid panoramic views over the Sau and Guilleries reservoirs.
That we seem to see a face in one of the Roques de la Corbera is due to a common psychological phenomenon that has a name: pareidolia.
It not only occurs in rocks, but we can also find it in any element that is around us, for example, when we see a cloud that seems to have a recognizable shape.
