The PDECat responds to Mas with a scene from 'Love Actually' and says that his relationship with the former president "has changed"

The words of Artur Mas on whether or not the PDECat should stand in the general elections on July 23 after the discreet results of David Bonvehí’s in the municipal elections just a month ago have not fallen on deaf ears. The formation, which is presented to the generals with the Espai CiU brand, has replied to the former president with a fragment of the film Love Actually in which Hugh Grant “interprets” his candidate, Roger Montañola and Billy Bob Thornton as Mas, who thinks that “it doesn’t make much sense to go dividing that space,” he says, alluding to post-convergent brands.

In the subtitles that those from Bonvehí have adapted, they point out that their relationship with the former president of the Generalitat “has changed”, and they defend the decision to fight at the polls within a month.

“Perhaps we are a small party, but we are a good party. Those who are not ashamed. Those who do not need to vote with a nose clip. We are convinced that President Mas knows it perfectly well. And that is why we are here , with all the force, and from now on we will speak clearly so that their former voters vote for us,” they say in subtitles adapted to their whim.

In these municipal elections, Mas has balanced between Junts and the PDECat, a formation in which he is still a member, although he has led a notable approach to JxCat and its leaders in recent months. In Banyoles, for example, he has been several times with the now mayor, Miquel Noguer.
