The courtyards of 30 educational centers will become areas of public space outside of school hours, where 21 centers will open in the morning and 9 will open in the afternoon.
The municipal initiative Patis Escolars Oberts, promoted by Barcelona City Council, with the collaboration of the Barcelona Education Consortium (CEB), seeks to enhance these places in an educational and social way, creating links between children and families.
In the case of daycare centers, outdoor play spaces are offered for children under 6 years of age, as long as they are accompanied by their family. Information about open nurseries can be consulted on the town hall website.
