Depending on the consumer profile, the help is less or more. For vulnerable consumers, the electricity bill will be reduced by 65%, while for those considered severely vulnerable, the reduction will be 80% and, throughout 2024, customers in a situation of severe vulnerability have a VAT of 10% regardless of the market price. Likewise, those who are in the temporary “energy justice” category benefit from a 40% reduction.

Endesa provides proactive advice to organizations and institutions so that help reaches people in need. In the last year, he has carried out advisory services to associations, town councils or social services, among others. This aid is intended for pensioners, large families, and people in vulnerable situations who are affected by the volatility of the energy market.

The consequences of the coronavirus and the energy crisis forced the Administration to take extraordinary measures for the most vulnerable households, measures that will in principle be in force until June 30, 2024.

Of the 144,600 beneficiaries of the social bonus, 77,662 are vulnerable families who have a reduction of 65% or 40%, the percentage varies depending on their needs.

57.25% of the beneficiaries are people in a vulnerable situation due to income issues, 36.08% correspond to large families, 3.29% to pensioners, 2.69% to low-income households affected due to the energy crisis and finally, 0.68% corresponds to the beneficiaries of the minimum vital income.
