The night of delight at the Wax Museum

When night falls in the museum, its relics come to life. The vigil of our past celebrates, every night, what remained after: our history. That is the old maxim of the film, starring the American actor Ben Stiller, Night at the Museum, and also the premise of the collaboration between the Barcelona Wax Museum and the Deleito gastronomic chain. Wax celebrities such as Teresa of Calcutta, Taylor Swift, The Beatles and Pablo Picasso were seen on the night of Thursday, April 18, with their hands in the dough of the hamburgers of the co-founder of the gastronomic project Alberto Gras.

The alliance between the project led by Gras and the Wax Museum aims to attract a much younger audience to an event where wax figures come to life after closing and enjoy a party sponsored by Deleito burgers. In this way you can accompany such famous people as Obama or Brad Pitt enjoying the “holy pleasure” burgers.

The collaboration started from two actions. One on the same Thursday, April 18, in which as the sun went down their figures breathed celebration in a blue and white gala night with Gras hamburgers as the main guest. And the second with Gras himself in the middle being made up as if he were a wax doll to surprise all the visitors.

The general coordinator of the Barcelona Wax Museum Núria Solé embraces the gastronomic collaboration with which “the museum has managed to be present on the radar of young people in Barcelona, ??a key public for the visibility of the museum within the city.” With the arrival of dawn everything returned to normal, static, fixed, without a trace of hamburgers but something new inhabited the museum exhibition rooms visited by a new audience: a good taste in the mouth.
