Fiat has unveiled the name and the first image of its new sustainable urban mobility solution: the Topolino. The fully electric quadricycle of the Italian firm is ready to contribute to the expansion of urban electric mobility by providing an accessible and emission-free version that contains all the freshness of the predecessor of the Fiat 500.

This famous and evocative name is the one that paved the way for urban mobility in the transalpine country and is immediately reminiscent of the first Fiat 500, the iconic car that revolutionized the concept of motorized vehicle. Produced from 1936 to 1955, the Fiat 500, commonly known as the Topolino, literally invented the idea of ??family mobility for people, in a transition from motorcars and motorcycles (the Vespa, mainly) to a much more comfortable car.

The new Topolino perfectly embodies the dolce vita and the Italian spirit of Fiat. As a vehicle that aims to make you smile, the Topolino brings a new concept of joy, optimism and fun to the streets of the city. The new quadricycle has been designed for a wide audience, including younger customers, families – as a second or third vehicle at home – and lovers of the city.

It adapts perfectly to large cities thanks to its contained dimensions and exceptional agility, and to people looking for an efficient, simple and “fresh” mobility alternative.

Aimed at the new digital generations, the Topolino is more than a mobility device. Thanks to its charming design, suitable for all profiles and types of users, those responsible for the Italian company hope that it will make young people fall in love with cars again.

In addition, the new Fiat Topolino will play a socially active role in promoting electric mobility in cities and a particularly prominent role as a personal mobility solution beyond what is strictly functional and rational. The upcoming launch of the Topolino is perfectly in line with the Italian firm’s vision of “It’s only green when it’s green for everyone”. Its commercialization in Spain will begin from April 2024.
