Hunter Biden has once again been involved in a public scandal. The second son of the current president of the United States never seems to be without controversy, with various accusations of tax evasion and illicit association weighing on his head. But without a doubt the worst habit that the lawyer has is to leave electronic objects in inappropriate places. He happened to him in Delaware in 2020, raising accusations of rigging by Donald Trump; and it has happened again this week, with shocking results.

Marco Polo, a non-profit right-wing association, reportedly published more than 9,000 photos of the president’s son on a free access website. These include questionable behavior such as drug use, sex with prostitutes, and gun possession. One of the images even shows his ex-sister-in-law Hallie Biden, Hunter’s current lover, naked after the death of her brother Beau in 2015.

The conglomerate of images has reached the public eye thanks to Garrett Ziegler, a former official of Donald Trump in the White House, who explained to Fox News that he was doing it so that American society would know “the truth about the presidential family.” The images, between 2008 and 2019, came into his hands practically by accident.

According to his words, Hunter Biden never came to pick up a laptop that he had sent to an electronics store for repair. Once the stipulated maximum period for picking it up had elapsed, the store owner took it from his property. Just before factory resetting it to sell secondhand, he researched its contents and found 217 gigabytes of photos and information, which he used to sell to the FBI, Donald Trump’s adviser, and various media outlets including the Daily Mail.

This supposes a direct dart to the public image of his father, Joe Biden, and another scandal in the long list that includes the life of Hunter. In addition to the accusations of electoral fixing and the relationship he maintains with his brother’s widow, the businessman has been dragging multiple problems with his fiscal situation for years. Since 2020, Biden has seen how his business in countries like China is often questioned.

The accusations of tax evasion started with an investigation in 2018. According to CNN, Hunter Biden negotiated a contract with CEFC China Energy, an energy group from the Asian country. One of the sticky issues in that negotiation was a gift from the company president: a 2.8-carat diamond valued at about $80,000. Hunter was never comfortable with that gift, much less when the president was arrested in 2019 on corruption charges and the contract evaporated.
