The Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating a 27-year-old man for three robberies in homes in Besalú, Olot and Sant Joan les Fonts on April 11 between eight and ten at night. The security cameras of one of the houses he entered allowed him to be identified. The alleged thief is already in prison for similar acts.

The investigation remains open and more arrests are not ruled out. The first of the robberies occurred in Besalú. The perpetrators forced a window of the house and took cash.

The second was perpetrated in Sant Joan les Fonts. The victim found two men opening a bedroom closet. However, when they were surprised, they fled without taking anything. The third was committed in Olot. The victim heard knocking outside his house around ten at night, but activated the security cameras and the thieves fled.

With the images captured in this latest robbery and the investigations carried out by the investigation unit, the police were able to identify the man who appeared and conclude that he had been the author of the three acts and that he had committed them in a correlative manner.

The police have not concluded the investigation and more arrests have not been ruled out.
