The fog is the most suitable setting to accompany the morning specter, that of Brocken, Campdevànol, in the region of Ripollès, as seen in these photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

The Brocken spectrum can be observed on the opposite side of the sun, like the rainbow, but with the colors inverted. She looks like a ghost figure.

The reason why it is called the Brocken spectrum is found in Germany, where, as in Ripollès, frequent fogs occur on the Brocken, a peak of the Harz Mountains.

The Brocken specter was observed and described by Johann Silberschlag in 1780. And, since then, it has often been recorded in German literature when talking about, for example, the devil and witches.

Campdevànol stands out for its location under Mount Puigmal. What stands out in this town is the fantastic 46-meter bell tower of its parish church, which dates back to the 18th century, although it was rebuilt in 1945 due to the aftermath of the civil war and the 1944 earthquake.

The Gothic temple is part, together with a farmhouse and the cemetery, of an architectural complex of great quality and conservation.
