In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see images of a charming mini-town of medieval origin. It is about Sant Just d’Ardèvol, which is within the domains of the municipality of Pinós and which belongs to the Solsonès region.

Sant Just and its church are located in the northwest corner of the municipality of Pinós, on the back of the flattened ridge that rises between the Rovira ditch, to the south, and the Gangolells ravine, to the north, at the head of the Llanera stream.

The houses of the town, together with the church, form a compact closed area, according to the Pinós Town Council. Currently, Sant Just d’Ardèvol is one of the five unique population entities of the municipality of Pinós.

Both the main street and the church are a medieval construction modified from the 16th century until the 20th century in a small town that, however, has not lost the charm of its past.

The church of Sant Just, which we can see in these images, is currently suffragan of the parish church of Santa Maria de Su.
