The Local Police of Sant Cugat del Vallés has located the driver who this Thursday ran over a mother and her two children when they were heading to the Gerbers school in Orlhac.
The accident occurred early in the morning and the woman and one of the minors had to be transferred to a hospital in Terrassa in less serious condition.
The driver fled the scene without providing help to the family, but the police identified the vehicle thanks to traffic cameras in different parts of the municipality and have already begun the process to report the incident to the courts. I also communicated this to the driver.
The City Council assures that it will review the point of the accident at a technical level to increase pedestrian safety
The family was crossing a pedestrian crossing at number 27 on calle Josep Carner de la ciudad vallesana, in the direction of the school.
The mother and one of the children, who were affected by the accident, were taken to the Mutua de Terrassa, while the other was able to go to school.
