In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate this sunset lit up with clouds and the orange colors of the candelabra around Pedraforca.

The candilazo is a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors that goes from pink to the most intense orange.

As part of the phenomenon of scattering of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closest to the horizon, the light that reaches Earth is soft tones between red and orange.

Pedraforca is one of the most emblematic mountains in Catalonia, located in the Sierra del Cadí, within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park area.

Located on the border between the provinces of Barcelona and Lleida, it has a very peculiar shape due to its two peaks separated by a large col.

Its best known view is the one that can be seen from its eastern slope. At the northern peak we find the Pollegó Superior peak, at 2,506 meters high, and the Calderer peak, at 2,505 meters high. The southern peak is made up of Pollegó Inferior, at an altitude of 2,445 metres.
