Today, the ideal car for many drivers is one that is functional, capable of comfortably transporting the whole family, that is useful for shopping at the hypermarket, and that allows you to get off the road to go off-road from time to time. That is why vehicles such as SUVs or crossovers are among the most sought after alternatives.
Brands like Mini already have models like the Countryman in their range, which strictly complies with all the above premises. However, the British firm has sought to curl the loop with the aim of attracting the most adventurous with its latest creation. This is the new Cooper S Countryman ALL4 Uncharted Edition.
This version is based on the four-wheel drive model and, considering both its looks and its qualities, there is no doubt that it seeks to appeal to drivers who are not satisfied with rolling on the road. And it is that its objective, among other things, is to offer a comfortable and efficient driving experience regardless of the terrain where it is driven.
Under the hood of the vehicle is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 178PS and is powered by Mini’s TwinPower Turbo technology. In terms of performance, this engine allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, as well as achieve a top speed of 222 km/h. Its approved average consumption is 7.0 l/100 km.
On the other hand, the two-tone exterior of the car, with a white roof and underside as well as a green central sector, attracts attention from the first moment. As for colors, we must not overlook the orange stripe that extends over the white areas from the front bumper to the rear, also covering the entire roof.
All this contrasts perfectly with the black frames that include the headlights and the robust 18-inch wheels of the same color. These wheels are associated with Grabber AT3 off-road tires, designed to provide additional traction, for example, in muddy areas.
Continuing with its level of offroad skills, this Mini is capable of rolling over other demanding terrain without problems, including sand and low-grip surfaces. Once in the cabin you can see a rather sober interior where the glossy black color is the main protagonist.
To identify this limited edition we find ‘Uncharted’ inscriptions on the steering wheel, on the passenger side and on the door sills. For now, the British brand has not communicated the price of this Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 Unchartered Edition or the date on which the first units will begin to be delivered.
