The Spanish coaching industry is attacking the umpteenth deficit of the Celtiberian man, who is increasingly discredited: there are few good lovers, capable of competing with the technological advances of toys and all the sexual gadgets that are all the rage among women.
Look, I have told my married friends, now that they have completed their silver wedding anniversary, they can enjoy sex without restrictions: less Enríquez Negreira and more dedication! And I also insist that it be “quality time”. Let’s go – so that they understand me –, that they are not the “minutes of garbage”.
For some time now, one observes the ideological exaltation by land, sea and air of masturbation and unilateral love. In view of the fact that men are selfish and hasty – we all agree on this – feminism extols the virtues of onanism, well known and highly recommended to save appointments and trouble. This trend, underlying gender politics, reminds me of a phrase from a friend, back in the 20th century: the only bad thing about masturbation is that it gets a bad press… Not anymore!
Does the Iberian have room for improvement? I see it as complicated, although we still have the hope of a network of public workshops –not to be confused with Talleres Tejada– under the guidelines of the Equality organizations, to instruct men in techniques that guarantee female sexual satisfaction, whose discontent is notorious.
There is no doubt that men are a disaster, and more drowned in doubts. When I started in this sexuality thing, a supposedly anti-sexist phrase prevailed: “There is no frigid woman, only an inexperienced man.” Over time, it seemed to me the opposite – a macho philosophy – because it perpetuated the subsidiary role of women. In these, another more egalitarian-looking phrase appeared: “Each one is responsible for his orgasm.” Neither… he’s also macho.
Does the man of the 21st century have a sexual future, forced to wake up in all his amatory services? Something tells me that we are entering the era of onanism. And at the end of the seafood restaurants and other outdated preambles…
