The hills between Vallès and the sea

In La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can see how the day begins with high, thin clouds looking towards the sea and fog towards the Vallesan plain.

These are photographs taken from the Coll de la Jeia d’en Pujol (393.8 meters). This hill forms the municipal boundary between Badalona, ??in Barcelonès Nord, and Sant Fost de Campsentelles, in Vallès Oriental.

In this area we also find the Coscollada or Coscollada de l’Amigó (466 meters), which is the highest peak of the Amigó mountain range, in the Serralada de Marina, which is part of the Catalan Coastal Range.

La Coscollada is also the highest hill in the municipality of Badalona. It is located between the Turó del Pi Candeler (462 m) and the Coll de la Jeia d’en Pujol (393.8 m).

The hill forms the municipal boundary between Badalona and Sant Fost de Campsentelles, with the mountain range of Amigó. At its foot is the Font de l’Amigó, where the Canyet stream originates, which with a length of 6 km is the longest in Badalona.
