In this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia I show the last full moon setting over the hermitage of Sant Sebastià in Vic, Osona region.
In these images, captured during the last full moon we have had, we see how the moon basically envelops the part of the bell tower at nightfall.
The hermitage of Sant Sebastià was built in the 16th century on top of a hill 770 meters high due to a plague.
This popular church is located within the demarcation of Sant Joan del Galí and depends on the parish of Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer.
From the hermitage there is a good view of the Osona region. It belongs to the municipality of Vic and hosts cultural, religious and political events and, previously, it had been a fire surveillance point. Annually, Aplec is celebrated here on the Sunday after Easter.
