The Plenary Session of the Consell has approved the decree law by which the temporary rate reductions in public transport services under the jurisdiction of the Generalitat are extended for a period of six months in 2024. With this decree law, the reductions are extended next year of rates in temporary subscriptions and multi-trip tickets for 50% of public transport services under the jurisdiction of the Generalitat for a period of 6 months, until July 31, 2024.
Similarly, the Free Temporary Youth Pass for young people up to 30 years old is extended to June 30, 2024. Users can benefit directly, without having to carry out any type of formality or technical process, from these discounts that affect to TRAM of Castelló, Metrobús, Metrovalencia, TRAM of Alicante and urban and interurban buses, the estimated cost for the Generalitat of the application of these two measures is approximately 18.4 million euros.
