Mariano Fuentes, former Town Planning Councilor of the Madrid City Council, has joined Vía Ágora, a company specializing in the management and development of real estate assets, as director of investor relations to face new projects in the promoter that, as has been advanced by the Cadena Ser, received in March the transfer of five municipal plots.
For the president of Vía Ágora, Juan Antonio Gómez-Pintado, “it is a satisfaction to be able to add a profile like Fuentes to the team, with his professional background, which has managed to position the capital as a benchmark in terms of urban planning, in addition to having an enormous knowledge of the real estate sector and an extensive track record in private business”.
What the press release does not indicate is that Vía Ágora benefited in March from the transfer of the land “for the construction and operation of rental housing at an affordable price for 45 years” just a few weeks before Fuentes left the Consistory after the bad results obtained by Ciudadanos in the 28-M elections.
Fuentes is a technical architect from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a building engineer from the European University. Mariano Fuentes has completed an MBA at the European Business School and an Expert Public Leadership course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Deusto.
On the other hand, the former delegate for Families, Equality and Social Welfare Pepe Aniorte, a former member of Ciudadanos, has been appointed managing director of the Employment Agency, replacing the previous position, José María Meneses.
Aniorte, who left Cs to sign for the PP on the eve of the May electoral campaign, will now lead the municipal body in charge of facilitating labor access for Madrid residents. “An important task”, as assessed by the vice mayor of Madrid, Inmaculada Sanz at the press conference after the Governing Board.
