The famous Fonts de Rellinars, which always spring up, offer us these sad images of the drought. Two years ago around this same time they already suffered from a lack of water, which has worsened this winter.

Rellinars, in the region of Vallès Occidental but very close to the region of Bages, takes us to the limits of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park.

The excursion to the Fonts de Rellinars, next to the stream of the same name, is one of the most affordable and family-friendly that can be done in these places.

Once at the fountains you can see the water gushing from the same rock. Or, at least, it could be, given that this winter it is not possible due to the drought, as can be seen in these photographs in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.

The surroundings of the Fonts de Rellinars are surrounded by vegetation and some picnic tables invite you to enjoy the sound of the water from the fountains… when there is water.

It is a good idea to also visit the Balma de l’Andaló, which was built during the Civil War as a warehouse and shelter. Once inside it gives the feeling of being inside a rock.
