The fiscal leadership decides today the future of the complaint against Ayuso's boyfriend for revealing data

The Board of Court Prosecutors meets this Wednesday to debate whether it supports or rejects the opening of a criminal investigation for a crime of revealing secrets derived from the leak of data of the boyfriend of the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, carried out from her own office. institution in a meeting that is expected to be tense and that increases pressure on the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz.

Ayuso’s partner, Alberto González Amador, filed a complaint for alleged revelation of secrets against the chief prosecutor of Madrid, Pilar Rodríguez, and the economic crimes prosecutor, Julián Salto, while the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) presented another complaint but without attributing the facts to anyone specifically.

They did so in response to the controversial press release issued by the Madrid Prosecutor’s Office on March 14, in which details were given about the investigation of Alberto González for the alleged crimes of tax fraud and document falsification.

Precisely, this Tuesday it was made public that González Amador proposed to the Prosecutor’s Office to accept eight months in prison and pay some 525,000 euros for two tax crimes to avoid going to trial, a document that courtroom prosecutors already have for study.

Thus, the Board of Court Prosecutors – in which the entire fiscal leadership is present – will be held once the prosecutor María de la O Silva, who is the one who must report on the admission or not of the complaint filed by the couple de Ayuso, invoked article 27 of the Organic Statute, not agreeing with the order of number 2 of the Public Ministry, María Ángeles Sánchez Conde.

The Supreme Court’s lieutenant prosecutor also verbally asked him to reject the complaint by invoking the hierarchical principle of unity of action, which governs the Public Prosecutor’s Office, since there cannot be two opposing positions in relation to two identical cases, since the prosecutor who assumed the Another complaint, that of the ICAM, has already established criteria by maintaining that there is no crime, as Conde also thinks.

All this because the Madrid prosecutor wants to carry out a series of procedures before writing her report, specifically she intends to examine the communications of the attorney general in this regard.

Since the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, has abstained in this case, it will be up to his number 2, María Ángeles Sánchez Conde, to preside over the Board, whose position is not binding for Conde before establishing the final position, although fiscal sources indicate to EFE that the normal thing is that it does not deviate from the criteria of the majority.
