The fire of a truck on the M-45 causes major traffic jams in Madrid

The fire of a trailer truck at kilometer 28 of the M-45 is causing traffic jams this morning in the area of ​​El Cañaveral, direction A-2, the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has reported on its Twitter account.

Firefighters from the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council are working at the scene. The driver of the trailer truck is unharmed, according to Emergencies Comunidad de Madrid.

The fire has caused the closure of the M-45, in the area of ​​El Cañaveral, direction A-2. During the morning there were at least two kilometers of traffic jams in both directions.
