It began with an inaugural procession, with dance and theater performances from as far away as Belgium, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, France and Spain, and hundreds of spectators watched as part of the passeig Taulat was closed temporarily to make way for what quickly became a joyous party.

Participants, including hundreds of Spaniards, were seen dancing to the beat of drums as the procession headed for the opening ceremony, just outside the CCIB, where theatrical performances continued, all of them expressing the motto of Spirituality and Humanity as two equally important aspects of a peaceful life and existence.

Organized by the Mission of Sant Nirankari, the event follows in the wake of other similar events held on a large scale in Europe, in cities such as Amsterdam, Birmingham, Naples and Stockholm. In his concluding speech of the festival, His Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the Mission’s spiritual leader, was greeted with long applause as he said that the festival will become a biennial celebration, moving to more European destinations.

Throughout the two days, he intervened on several occasions, expressing the message, so that all people accept, love and connect more with themselves and with others, if we want to make way for a better, happier and more more united. He asked all attendees to enlighten their lives with the values ??of spirituality and humanity, stating that “we must take into account the limited time on Earth and use it in a positive way, filling our hearts with goodness.”

The event concluded with an ecstatic musical evening, featuring Sufi songs and rhythmic devotional hymns, to the point that attendees in the CCIB auditorium were on their feet towards the end, dancing and clapping to the tunes of international musical talent Manya Narang. , which raised the emotional vibration of all who were present.

The Sant Nirankari Mission defines itself as a global spiritual and humanitarian movement that does not intend to convert anyone into a believer or religious. His message is rather one of respect, tolerance and understanding. If they are interested in conversion, it seems that it is simply to transform hate into love, separation into friendship, and prejudice into acceptance. The Mission helps to make this transition, through the divine knowledge – ‘Gyan’ – that His Holiness Satguru Mata Ji is sharing with the world.
