The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) withdrew a new statement from its official website mid-afternoon this Saturday in which it again attacked the player of the Spanish team Jennifer Hermoso. The withdrawal of the text has been one of the first decisions taken by the acting president of the RFEF Pedro Rocha Junco, who replaced Rubiales in office after the FIFA Disciplinary Committee ordered his temporary suspension. A statement that, for the second time, accused Hermoso of lying and “misrepresenting reality” for maintaining that in the kiss that Luis Rubiales gave him after the World Cup final there was no consent when “the beak was consented.”
The withdrawn letter was directed expressly against the player with the purpose of insisting that she “was lying in the statements” made through the FutPro Union and also “in all the statements” of the personal statement that she released this Friday.
The RFEF suggested that Hermoso published a statement “clearly prepared by third parties” in order to “have the necessary elements for the suspension of the functions of the President of the Federation” and ensures that he will be able to “prove at the appropriate time” that he has not told the truth
“That we have all the pertinent reports and expert opinions that prove what the president has stated and that we are going to take the corresponding legal actions against all those people who are falsifying reality and committing very serious crimes,” he warned.
The RFEF described in the statement as “extraordinarily incomprehensible” that Hermoso spoke of “a mere anecdote without significance” in his statements before the FIFA welfare officer after the World Cup final and even pointed out to the press that “it was time, the effusion and of the moment, that there is nothing beyond, and that it is going to remain an anecdote”.
He also criticized the fact that in the last few hours he had stated in writing that the kiss was an “abuse in which I did not consent” and that he felt “vulnerable and the victim of aggression, an impulsive and sexist act out of place and without any consent by my part”.
The Federation insisted for the second time on its complaint for what it considers “serious contradictions in the initial account of what happened and the serious accusations made by Hermoso since she was abducted by the FutPro Union”, to the point of asking “what interests responds to the surprising change in the initial version and qualification of the facts”.
Without providing new data or evidence, the Federation wanted to rule with its new text that “the facts are what they are and, no matter how many statements they want to make to misrepresent reality, it is impossible to change what happened.” “The peak was consented. The consent is given at the moment with the conditions of the moment. Later you can think that one has been wrong, but you cannot change reality,” concludes a statement that cannot be read, but that has undoubtedly left his mark.
