The exterior of a waste plant in Colmenar Viejo caught fire on Thursday night and, in turn, has caused a new vegetation fire in the surroundings without anyone being affected, as reported by Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.

The alert call was received at the emergency center around 10:00 p.m. in which they warned of a fire outside a waste classification plant.

Up to ten Firefighters from the Community of Madrid have moved to the place, which have encountered a highly developed fire that affected large piles of pressed paper and plastic, approximately an area of ​​1,500 cubic meters.

In turn, this fire has caused another vegetation fire near the recycling plant that firefighters currently consider controlled. Likewise, a large column of smoke has been generated, although without affecting the population due to its verticality and the absence of wind. However, Summa112 has moved to the place preventively.
