In the Torrent de l’Aspre, in the Vall de Ribes, we can not only admire nature in its purest form, as can be seen in this snapshot in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.
Also in this environment of the Ripollès region we can discover enigmatic stories, often linked to Catharism.
To do this, a good activity is to take the excursion that leaves from Plaça de la Font de Nevà and covers a route of 8.21 km.
It is a circular route of about 4 hours, well signposted with yellow paint throughout, except between Cal Baldrich de Dalt and the Vernedes pit, in front of the Pere Figuera hostel.
The experience will allow us to come into full contact with nature within the Obagues del Rigart and Serra de Montgrony Area of ??Natural Interest.
This route, known as the Volta al Tossal, allows us to travel through the shade of Toses and Planoles, between the town of Nevà itself and the Torrent de l’Aspre, where the houses and farmhouses and ranchers transport us to the times of the Cathar heresies, which in Nevà had some roots. The landscape is thus not only exuberant, but enigmatic.
