The eight candidates for rector of the Complutense University of Madrid (Javier Arias Díaz; Esther del Campo García; Matilde Carlón Ruiz; María Castro Morera; Joaquín Goyache Goñi, Josefa Isasi Marín; Iñaqui López Sánchez and Jesús Pérez Gil) will debate this Wednesday , at 4:00 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Information Sciences, to present their proposals before the elections on March 21 (in the first round).

As reported by the UCM in a statement, the content blocks of the debate, agreed with the candidates, will be: Administration and Services Staff, non-permanent and permanent PhD Researcher Professor, infrastructures and economic policy, and diagnosis and strategic proposals. Attendees will be able to ask their questions at the end of the debate, reports Servimedia.

In each turn, the applicants will have one minute for an initial presentation and will have two two-minute interventions per candidate in each thematic block. Finally, they will have three minutes to present their conclusions.

The election, as has been the case since 2003, will be held by weighted universal suffrage. The entire Complutense community is called to the polls: teachers, students and administration and services staff.
