The return operation from Easter to the Barcelona area began this Sunday at 12:00 noon and will last until Monday, the Servei Català de Trà nsit (SCT) has reported.
At 1 p.m., the first traffic jams were recorded on the GI-600 Blanes-Tordera heading south, 4 km, on the C-32 Palafolls towards the GI-600 junction, 1 km and on the C-65 Llagostera heading for Platja d’ Aro, 2 km. Traffic has already normalized in those sections.

In 2022, at 8:20 p.m., up to 148 kilometers of traffic jams were accumulated in the entire road network of Catalonia.
The AP-7 concentrated the most important problems: specifically, they occurred in La Roca del Vallès, Santa Margarida i els Monjos (Barcelona), El Vendrell and L’Ampolla (Tarragona).
