The driver of a scooter is arrested for driving while intoxicated and attacking an officer

The Elx Local Police have arrested a drunk driver of an electric scooter for attacking an agent. Last September, a police team saw a man driving a scooter while he was staggering because he was intoxicated.

The officers stopped him and found that he gave off a strong odor of alcohol. At the time of identifying him, the subject began to appear rebellious and nervous and avoided collaborating with the agents.

During the superficial search, a piece of plastic with a white substance, apparently amphetamine, was found inside the sock on his left foot, which was used.

The police carried out a breathalyzer test with a result in the first test of 0.94mg in exhaled air, at which point the person involved began to rebuke the officers with loud phrases such as: “I don’t know why you stopped me, in instead of doing other more important things. “You keep touching my balls and you are worthless.”

An officer told him to stop yelling and the subject responded with a push, causing the officer to stumble against a parked vehicle. The 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to police stations.
