It could be a beautiful image, with the last side lights of the sun on the horse and the lenticular clouds, but we see, in this photograph in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos, the horse looking for grass, a dry pasture.
The little rain and the slight humidity from the fog has greened the fields a little, but it has not been enough for the pastures, as in this area of ??Vic, in the Osona region.
The reservoirs would lack a lot of rain and it seems that the rainfall forecasts will somewhat solve the problem of the pastures.
But it is clear that animals (and farmers) are also suffering the consequences of the long drought in Catalonia. Not only livestock on farms, but also animals that live in their natural habitat.
With the new drought restrictions in Catalonia already in place, rain is necessary more than ever, both for people, animals and vegetation in general.
