A third group of 29 Hispanic-Palestinians and family members managed to leave the Gaza Strip this Wednesday through the Rafá border crossing, thus ending this phase of evacuation, according to what diplomatic sources have informed Europa Press, who have specified that along with the rest of evacuees will fly in the next few hours from Cairo to Spain.

Among the 29 who managed to leave the Strip during the day are three Hispanic-Palestinians who had been given authorization the day before but who did not manage to complete the process in time, the sources have specified.

In total, there have been 143 Hispanic-Palestinians who have left the Strip since Monday, with which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concludes this phase of evacuation, since the total number of those registered at the Consulate General in Jerusalem have managed to leave Gaza. who had expressed their desire to leave the territory and for whom authorization had been processed.

On Monday, a first group of 40 people left the Strip, half of whom were minors, while on Tuesday a larger group made up of 74 people left, according to data provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

All of them have been transferred by bus to Cairo, the Egyptian capital, and settled in a hotel, where this last group of evacuees will join them, after which, “in the next few hours” they are scheduled to fly to Spain from the capital. Egyptian, the sources have indicated.
