Mishima, Niño de Elche, oDelafé and Las Flores Azules, among others, will form the line-up for the eleventh Curtcircuit festival, which this year includes a mini-tour of four concerts by Lluís Gavaldà, and as many by Els Catarres. In total there will be more than 30 concerts spread over twenty venues throughout Catalonia that this year, and for the first time, will start with a double performance on March 3, with Bounce Twice at the VADE Música venue in Sabadell and Delafé and the Blue Flowers accompanied by Twin at the Cotton Club of Lleida. In this way, the festival, which is now in its eleventh edition, aims to value concert halls located outside of Barcelona.

In the presentation of the festival, held this Wednesday in the Sidecar room, the effort made to not raise ticket prices was highlighted, an achievement achieved thanks to the sponsorships that support a festival that offers a space for emerging bands with the sponsorship of those already consolidated.

This season, the four concerts that Lluís Gavaldà will offer together with Joan-Pau Chaves stand out. The former Els Pets player will tour Manresa, Tarragona, Sant Feliu de Llobregat and Barcelona next May. Los Catarres will also hold four concerts, in their case at the Apolo Barcelonesa venue on November 22, 23, 24 and 25, and in a very special format. The group from Valles will dedicate a concert to each of them one of their last four works, with the possibility of acquiring a commemorative shirt of the event.

As in previous editions, the Curtcircuit, organized by the Associació de Sales de Concerts de Catalunya, combines in its line-up new Catalan music bands with established names that perform in small and medium-capacity halls, the ones that have the most difficulties in programming certain artists. In this way, it has been achieved that in the ten previous editions of the Festival more than 400 different artists perform in more than 450 works with the addition that, since 2019, practically 50% of the scheduled artists have been female.
