The construction exhibition grows by 50% in space and brings together 600 brands

Construmat, the exhibition dedicated to the construction sector organized by Fira de Barcelona, ??will increase its exhibition space by 50% for this year’s edition, which will take place between Tuesday and Thursday of next week in the Fira Gran Via venue in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

According to what the organization announced at a press conference this Thursday, they will bring together more than 300 companies and 600 brands in the sector in 10,000 square meters. The president of Construmat, Xavier Vilajoana, assured that “not only is it a bigger Construmat, but it is a better show because it brings together the entire sector, discovers the latest and multiplies its business opportunities.” The president of the fair highlighted that this year “the new stage begun in 2013 is consolidated, which aims to achieve a more sustainable, efficient and innovative sector.”

At Construmat you can find out about the latest developments in machinery, industrialized construction, facades, insulation, flooring, bathrooms and interior design, among other areas.

The show will also be international, with fifty foreign companies from countries such as Germany, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Italy and Poland. The guest country will be Morocco, which will have a wide representation that will present, among other things, what the football stadiums will be like for the 2030 World Cup, which the African country will organize together with Spain and Portugal. The director of the fair, Roger Bou, assured that the show wants to position itself as a reference in the Mediterranean arc.

However, Bou also highlighted that Construmat is also on the rise in the domestic market with a 120% growth in expected visitors from Madrid, Galicia, the Valencian Community and Andalusia.

“We present a very useful room for all construction professionals, where they can find the latest solutions and innovations that are already on the market. Companies present high-quality content that will help transform and promote the sector,” concluded the director of the show.
